Midnight Pre-Patch OverviewMidnight Pre-Patch Event Overview
Travel to the Twilight Highlands to push back the threat of the Twilight's Blade cult and stop them from summoning more forces by disrupting their rituals and defeating rare enemies across the highlands. Available to characters level 10 and above, you’ll also take on World Quests and reap the rewards of a job well done during this repeatable event. Alliance players will meet with Magister Umbric in Stormwind to begin their journey and Horde players will meet with Grand Magister Rommath in Orgrimmar.
The Cult Within
Join Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath as they work to keep the growing Twilight's Blade cult at bay. You’ll play through an introductory questline to kick things off and receive the Twilight's Blade Tabard on first completion for your Warband along with the title “Definitely Not a Cultist.”
World Quests and Rares
Continue on after the completion of the introductory quest line to take on two additional weekly quests Disrupt the Call and Twilight’s Dawn, Twilight Highlands World Quests, and defeat rare enemies to disrupt the rituals of the Twilight’s Blade cult.
You’ll earn Twilight Blade Insignias that you can use to purchase items from the vendors at the Ascension Base Camp in Twilight Highlands.
Rewarding the Efforts
You’ll be able to earn two achievements:
Two Minutes to Midnight- Defeat each of the bosses being summoned by the Twilight’s Blade in the Twilight Highlands during the Midnight pre-launch events. Rewards: Light-Forged Mechsuit (mount) and “Thorn of Twilight” title.
Crunching for Cultists- Win the Twilight’s Blade Stratagem game in the Twilight Ascension basecamp.
Visit Armorer Kalinovan to purchase item level 121 (Upgrade Level Champion 1/8) gear and Materialist Ophinell to purchase a variety of cosmetic rewards including pets, a mount, a toy, Housing decor, and transmog sets.

The Housing Decor introduced during the Twilight Ascension event will be available for purchase from Dethelin in Silvermoon City after the event ends and the Midnight expansion is live. Any remaining Twilight's Blade Insignias will be converted into Resonance Crystals.
Please keep in mind other rewards, such as the Toy, Pets, Mount, etc. will not be available once the event ends, so plan accordingly!
Take part January 27 through to the launch of Midnight March 2.
