Low-Level PvP Protection Aura Now Live on China’s Titan Reforged Server

To prevent players from camping lower-level characters in the open world, Blizzard and NetEase have implemented a "low-level protective aura" on China's Titan Reforged Server. If a player-character is attacked and dies by another player who is 5 levels or higher than them, the lower-level character will receive a buff that prevents further PvP damage from higher-level characters.

To improve the gameplay experience and competitive fairness for players on the Titan Reforged "Time" server, we have implemented a new PvP Protection Aura.

PvP Vulnerability Protection Aura Effective Rules

When a higher-level player or pet kills a lower-level player, if the level difference between the two is 5 levels or more, the lower-level player will gain a 1-hour protection aura, making them immune to damage from characters 5 levels or more higher than themselves. This protection aura also applies to the player's pet.

PvP Weakness Protection Aura Failure Rules
If a lower-level player initiates an attack on another player whose level is 5 or more higher than their own, the protection aura will be removed.

If a player's pet initiates an attack on another player whose level is 5 or more higher than the player's and the pet is not in a taunting state, the player's protective aura will be removed.

When a player's protective aura is removed, their pet's protective aura will also be removed simultaneously.

If a player currently has a protective aura, the pet's protective aura will be refreshed when the player summons the pet again.

If a player's own protective aura fails, their pet's protective aura will also be removed.

If a lower-level player applies a buff (healing or other beneficial effect) to a friendly player who is neither themselves nor their pet, the protection aura will be removed. (This is to prevent players from simultaneously healing others and enjoying the damage immunity aura during PvP combat.

Note: The purpose of the Weakness Protection Aura is not to allow low-level characters to retaliate or heal recklessly; rather, it's to prevent a low-level player from becoming a target for "camping/harassment" after being killed once due to a significant level difference in PvP combat. The core purpose of this mechanism is to give low-level players a chance to escape or recover, preventing them from dying repeatedly. Therefore, if you use group healing, area-of-effect healing, or apply buffs to teammates, the protection aura will be easily removed.

Special Circumstances Explanation:
Entering the arena, battlefield, or when a character dies will not remove the protective aura.

This protective aura cannot grant immunity to damage caused by NPCs.

The protective aura does not work in battlegrounds or arenas.

Attacking any character in the battlefield or arena will not remove the protective aura.

In the battlefield or arena, casting a buff will not remove the protective aura.

You will not receive this protective aura if you are killed by a character of any level in the battlefield or arena.

When a pet attacks a target that is taunting it, its protective aura will not be removed.
