From today until December 7th, players can head to Tanaris and experience the revamped Anniversary Event, returning from last year. Try your luck in the Mount Matching minigame, ooh and ahh at the Trial of Style competitions, and maybe pick up a recolored Tier Set or two (if you haven't snagged them already).
While this year isn't a milestone anniversary, there are still a few notable differences for players - check out what's new this year below, or our full Anniversary Event guide for everything you may have missed or forgotten from last year.
WoW 21st Anniversary Event Guide
New Transmog: Loyal Watchman
Newly added to Traeya at the center pavilion of the Anniversary grounds, the Loyal Watchman's Armor set lets you live out your guard on duty fantasies.
Each piece is purchased individually for Timewarped Badge, and it will take 230 badges to secure the whole set.
New Title: Khaz Algar Enthusiast
Notary Grably is back, and he's added another title to his list. Players will be able to snag Bronze Celebration Titles: Khaz Algar Enthusiast for only 100 Timewarped Badges, so if you're particularly fond of The War Within, this is a great way to show that off.
What's Missing?
Some things are notably missing from this year's event, however. Both Storekeeper Reginald and Bobadormu are gone from the anniversary pavilion, the former likely because his dialogue hinted that he'd be gone this year, and the latter likely because Classic Timewalking has now entered the regular rotation, and it is off-season. This means players won't be able to snag older Anniversary rewards this year - you'll have to wait until Reginald appears again.
Additionally, it seems that the Blackrock Depths anniversary raid is only available, at least as of launch, on LFR difficulty. While Moira is next to the Dark Iron Mole Machine as expected, Moira herself offers no way in to the Normal or Heroic versions of the raid; additionally, the vendors you'd normally exchange Timewarped Relic Coffer Key with, Braggi Brazenbrass, Kraegan Emberforge, and Hilda Hellforge, are missing.
