ElvUI is one of the most popular addons due to the large suite of customizations and features it provides. You could download many different addons for customization, or ElvUI which allows you to reskin and customize practically the entire UI. However, with the coming to addons in Midnight, many of the current customizations will no longer be possible. Addons will be able to customize certain aspects of the UI, but not all of them.
Almost a month ago, popular addon Weakauras announced that will not be a version for Midnight. Now, ElvUI has announced that development is on hold for Midnight as well.

Given the current situation and state of API we won't be able to provide custom Unitframes and other major parts of the UI.
