Reports of this bug have made scattered appearances across social media, but the most prominent report is a thread on the Blizzard forums - and first appearances of this issue start as early as the first day of Legion Remix. Players of various classes, such as Monk, Druid, Death Knight, and Warlock, have all reported that quest chains for Artifact Weapons simply disappear, or cannot be progressed further, effectively bricking their characters and preventing certain specs from being played without creating an entirely new character.
Legion Remix doesn't really work without access to the Artifact Weapons.
This issue isn't easy to replicate, and for those who are experiencing it, it can be incredibly frustrating to hear "it worked just fine for me" from other players who didn't experience the blockage. There is currently no reliable workaround for the problem, but some players reported success in completing the Broken Shore scenario to force the quests to become available again. This was not a solution for everyone, and many still find themselves locked out of their second or third Artifact Weapon.
Death Knights received a reprieve with hotfixes addressing their specific issues yesterday, but other classes haven't been as lucky, with no word on any fixes coming for them. With a new phase of Legion Remix starting in a week, and many players attempting to change specs due to the strength of tanks in Remix content, this bug is a critical one that hopefully Blizzard can fix soon.
