PvP in Midnight
Training Grounds is the evolution of Comp Stomp. A way to team up with other humans to fight against PvP bots in battlegrounds to better introduce players to PvP concepts.
Comp Stomp has been Blizzard's most successful brawl in terms of participation to this day.
Slayer's Rise is a new 40v40 battleground in The Voidstorm, inspired by Alterac Valley.
Slayer's Rise is not only an instanced Battleground, but a part of The Voidstorm zone itself.
Instead of having a bit of PvP in each zone like TWW, all of the development for outdoor PvP in Midnight is focused on this open-world PvP area of The Voidstorm.
While not set in stone, the team is open to continuing to improve this PvP outdoor area in The Voidstorm for future patches if the community enjoys it.
The entrance of the Voidscar Arena dungeon is located in Slayer's Rise.
Prey System
Prey should provide players with a similar level of rewards from delves, including Vault slots.
Prey will have a Journey track, similar to delves. The journey will include both features to make Prey easier and cosmetics like pets and mounts.
Your prey will be able to jump you while doing any open-world content in the area of your prey.
The game might offer hints that you're in the correct area, maybe dropping hints like "you're getting closer".
Nightmare preys are on par with high-tier delves in terms of difficulty, but scaling is open to feedback in Alpha/Beta.
Misc Questions
You can only spec into Apex talents at level 81. Besides your level, there is no other requirement to using Apex talents.
There will be decor trophies. These are rewards for either really high performance or really high engagement. One of the areas to be rewarded is PvP.
Skyriding is getting streamlined. Instead of having a Vigor bar, all abilities that cost 1 Vigor now share 6 charges that replenish over time. Whirling Surge will have a separate 30-second cooldown, independent of charges. Overall, players should have more mobility with these changes.
