Amidst all the new models from Quel'thalas and beyond in Midnight, there is a new In-Game Cinematic model in the files for the one and only Sylvanas Windrunner.
Sylvanas is a character that needs no introduction, but she has been absent from the story since her exit at the end of Shadowlands (barring a few minor cameos). We've speculated in the past about her return after Maria Hamilton confirmed her appearance in Midnight, and it seems our suspicions were true! She will not feature as just a cameo in the Windrunner Spire dungeon, but as her modern self.
The strange Mawsworn lyre (a Jai-lyre, if you will) at her feet poses a few questions, but a handful of broadcast text lines may answer why: it seems Sylvanas will be singing a Thalassian song of some sort.

While this comes from the Midnight alpha client, the broadcast text surrounding it indicates that she will be returning prior to the expansion launch in 11.2.7. This likely means she will be involved in the prologue questlines prior to our return to Quel'thalas itself in Midnight.
