Legion Remix Armor and You – How Stats Work

When it comes to acquiring secondary stats, Legion Remix has a unique way to get around it. Unlike in The War Within or Mists of Pandaria, all your non-versatility stats will come from raw stats in your gear, direct percentages as well, similar to how gear worked in Vanilla WoW.

Legion Remix is scheduled to release alongside Patch 11.2.5 on October 7th. Check more information on the upcoming event with our guides!

Armor in Legion Remix
Armor in Lemix also differs from armor in Mists of Pandaria Remix, as it has a flat percentage of secondary stats on it instead of a numbered stat rating. The nine armor slots (helm, shoulder, cloak, chest, bracers, gloves, belt, legs, boots) operate this way, and certain pieces of gear will always contain a specific stat:

Helms, shoulders, and cloaks will always have Mastery.

Chests, wrists, and gloves will always have Critical Strike.

Belts, legs, and boots will always have Haste.

Diminishing Returns
Note that, unlike The War Within, secondary stats have no Diminishing Returns in Legion Remix, so you don't need to worry about having too much of one stat and losing value from it.

Versatility
The Versatility secondary stat cannot be obtained on gear in Legion Remix, instead coming from your Artifact Weapon via the Limits Unbound final trait. Check our Remix Artifact Weapon guide for information on this trait (and everything Artifact Weapon!)

In relation to the item quality, here's how armor works in Lemix:

Uncommon contains a small amount of primary and secondary stats.

Rare contains a larger amount of primary and secondary stats.

Epic contains an even larger amount of primary and secondary stats, as well as a guaranteed tertiary stat: Speed, Avoidance or Leech.
