K'aresh Zone GuidePhase Diving GuideMounts Guide: Patch 11.2
Sthaarbs's Last Lunch drops from the rare that is named on the mount, Sthaarbs. Sthaarbs is a phase diving rare, floating high above the ground at the center of the Oasis. He has a respawn time of approximately 1 hour and a weekly lockout on loot per character, including mount chance.
Once Sthaarbs is up, it will appear as an elite vignette on your world map, and you can mouse over it to see how high his health is!
Getting to Sthaarbs
As Sthaarbs is floating very high above the ground, most classes are unable to reach him with their normal abilities. Four platforms around Sthaarbs can be reached by taking a portal that's just to the left of the Oasis Phase Diving conduit. Approaching the portal will give you the ability Phase Warp as an Extra Action Button, simply use it to take the portal and be transported to the upper platforms around Sthaarbs!
Fighting Sthaarbs
NOTE: Pet classes will have a significantly harder time here, because pets do not recognize the platforms around Sthaarbs as solid ground, they will fall to the ground and despawn. Proceed with caution or find a group.
Sthaarbs is a Rare-Elite so it can be a bit tough to do when solo, but even a small group will have an easy time killing him. Sthaarbs has three abilities: Mindblast Beam and Lingering Curse both hurt a bunch, but are pretty straightforward to deal with.
His third ability, Repulsive Gaze, is the most dangerous one if you don't know how to deal with it: Sthaarbs will target one of the platforms around him and unleash a knockback beam over a few seconds. If you aren't careful about this, you will be knocked off the platform and very likely die from fall damage. You dodge this ability by jumping between Sthaarbs' platforms. On the sides of each platform, you can see swirlies. Stepping on these swirlies will transport you to the next platform, either to the left or right.
Once Sthaarbs is dead, all players engaged with him will be kicked out of Phase Diving and receive a slow fall debuff, and can safely loot him once on the ground. Good luck on the mount!
