Petopia: Hunter Tames in Patch 11.2
The Nightreaver
You'll need a tiny bit of patience for this pet - but thankfully, this Phase-Lost Cosmic Ray model is otherwise easy to get.
Players looking to snag this cotton-candy colored ray will need to phase dive first. After that, you'll be looking for the rare mob The Nightreaver, which spawns about every 15 minutes (around /way #2371 52.6 58.8) and travels in a loop around its spawn area. Be careful, though, because you'll be competing with collectors - this rare drops the pet Duskthief as well!
Stalker of the Wastes
Another phase diving rare, the Stalker of the Wastes is an incredible void-corrupted Rugged Void Stalker players can find just south of The Oasis. Unfortunately, this rare doesn't keep its interesting name after taming, so Hunters looking for something similar should instead look to The Nightreaver, which does.
For those who don't necessarily want to camp a rare, there is another option - if you haven't already accidentally locked yourself out of it. The non-rare NPCs Void Stalker spawn only during the quest Distilled Darkness, so if you've completed it already on your Hunter you'll need to get ready to camp the rare instead.
Malek'ta and Ramon'ta
If you're looking to tame one of K'aresh's giant sandworms, be warned - you'll need to be a BM Hunter to do so, as they're Exotic pets.
Malek'ta is the easier of the two worms to tame, although it is a rare spawn. No phase diving is required for this one, but you do need to know the trick to summon it - you'll have to jump on the sands around its spawn point multiple times to draw it to you at /way #2371 54.2 58.4!
Similar to the Stalker of the Wastes, there's also a quest-locked version of this tame - Ramon'ta the Insatiable. Part of the quest The Void Hunter, the tameable version is the final form, not the early appearances while feeding. Keep that in mind if you're looking to make a Muad'dib transmog set and want these worms as accessories!
Untethered Jawhead
A brand-new Blood Beast, this cotton-candy phase diving model will need Hunters to learn the Blood-Soaked Tome of Dark Whispers before they can tame this class of pet. Once you have that, however, it's easy to snag your very own Phase-Lost Crawg; just phase dive in Tazavesh and they're everywhere!
Flametouched Ray
Possibly one of the easiest to miss new tames, the Flametouched Ray can only be spawned in one way: the side quest Give me Fuel in Eco-Dome: Primus. Thankfully, there's a decent number of players doing this quest chain early on in the patch's life cycle, so if you missed out on it while doing the quest yourself, hang around in the area!
