You Only Get One Shot Per Week – New Source of Guaranteed Myth-Track Gear in Patch 11.2

Mythic+ mains and dungeon goers have a new source of Myth track gear in Patch 11.2, but it looks like a major challenge, and you're going to need some dedicated friends!

This information is based on the 11.2 PTR and may change before launch.

Hard Mode Tazavesh Guide

One-Shot Deathless Hardmode Tazavesh

Completing a deathless Tazavesh run isn't enough to earn you anything more than an achievement Flawless Transaction this time. Players will want to complete a One-Shot Deathless run for Hard Mode Tazavesh.

Every player in a group which completes a deathless Tazavesh on the first attempt of the Week will earn a guaranteed piece of Myth 1/6 loot.

Here's how things worked on the 11.2 PTR:

All players start the week with the Street Smart buff on their character which can be seen when they enter Tazavesh.

This buff is removed from the entire party when any member of the party dies inside Tazavesh. This fails the one-shot deathless reward for that character.

If all players have the Street Smart when a deathless Hard Mode buff is completed, this completes the challenge.*

Completing the challenge spawns a chest that awards a guaranteed piece of Myth track gear for each player, which will be randomly selected from all bosses in Tazavesh.

*it's unconfirmed what happens if a group completes a Deathless run with only a few members have the Street Smart buff; the assumption is that this does not trigger the bonus chest.

Other Rewards

If you don't manage to complete the One-Shot Deathless, don't worry -- you're still going to get some great rewards.

Bosses drop Hero 1/6 loot.

Completion of the megadungeon rewards players with a +10 Vault

30 Gilded Crests

Hard Mode Tazavesh Difficulty

Hard Mode Tazavesh is going to be no joke in Season 3. The dungeon is tuned like a +10 and is recommended for 707 item level. In addition, many of the Hard Mode mechanics are still present and make the encounters more difficult.

Three (technically two) bosses have new Hard Mode mechanics compared to the Shadowlands version:

So'zami now also divides the arena into quadrants immediately.

On Hylbrande, the console channeler needs to communicate where the orbs go.
This is indentical to the Shadowlands version, but now differs from the Mythic+ version.

Time Cap'n Hooktail now spawns the adds with a buff, giving them immunity to the 1st Infinite Breath instead of the old functionality.
