Nihilum, on the EU realm Magtheridon, killed Al’ar the Phoenix God – the “first” encounter in Tempest Keep: The Eye – this afternoon. By first, Al’ar is the initial encounter you come across in the zone, but many guilds have snuck past him to kill Void Reaver, as Al’ar was quite poorly tuned in comparison.
