Blizzard has announced that Tier 8 Set pieces will not receive further item level buffs. Additionally, Blizzard shares some reasoning behind this decision, citing that most players will not be full clearing Hardmode Ulduar encounters in week 1 and will not replace all their gear with hardmode loot right away.
