In the Shadowlands expansion, once you hit level 60, you will be tasked with choosing a Covenant. This choice is important as it will not only affect your character's story and aesthetics, but will provide you with Covenant-specific power increases for your character in the form of Covenant-specific abilities and Soulbinds.
