Each month, we’ll review your submissions and select one winning comic to receive a prize. We’ll also choose several honorable mentions; winning entries and honorable mentions will be displayed on our comic pages for all the universe to enjoy. You can learn more details about the prizes, read the complete official rules, and submit your comics here.

Dragon Soul Difficulty Change – 35%

During our server maintenance this week, the “Power of the Aspects” spell grew more powerful, reducing the health and damage dealt of all enemies in the Dragon Soul raid by 35%. This spell has grown progressively stronger over time to reduce difficulty and make the encounters more accessible. The spell will affect both normal and Heroic difficulties. It will not affect the Raid Finder difficulty.

If you don’t need the help of the Dragon Aspects, the spell can be disabled by talking to Lord Afrasastrasz at the beginning of Dragon Soul.

We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Soul, and that these changes encourage you to attempt a higher difficulty, or just keep pushing to take down that next boss.

Li Li’s Travel Journal, Part 1

Long ago, the legendary explorer Liu Lang set out from Pandaria with a turtle named Shen-zin Su. His tales inspired others to join him in his journey, and over thousands of years, the turtle grew into the vast Wandering Isle, which continues to roam the oceans, carrying an entire community of like-minded adventurers on its back.

But as time passed, their wanderlust faded.

For years, Li Li Stormstout eagerly read the tales of her uncle’s travels around the world, but despite her desire to explore the world with him, she has been forbidden to leave the Wandering Isle. She is too young, her family says, not ready for the trials and dangers of the larger world.

The Traveler’s Path still calls to her, but for now, she must be content to explore the Wandering Isle.

Li Li is determined to record everything she sees and does, and thus follow in the footsteps of the great pandaren wanderers who came before her:

Life is an adventure.

That's what Uncle Chen wrote in a letter to me once. It's sage advice, but my pop, Chon Po, doesn't think so. He says I spend too much time dreaming about the outside world, and that I ignore all the beauty and wonder of the Wandering Isle. He couldn't be more wrong—I do love where I'm from.

That's the point of this journal. I figure if I'm ever going to be a great explorer like Uncle Chen, I need to start writing about my own adventures, just like he does. Why not begin at home? Maybe my book will end up in the Great Library, tucked alongside Uncle Chen's missives. Better yet, someday folks in Stormwind City, Orgrimmar, or other faraway lands might read this and learn about my kin, our culture, and what makes this place so great!

Blizzard Entertainment is proud to present the first entry in Li Li’s Travel Journal.
